“Frightened ostriches bury their heads in the sand in the hopes that trouble will pass them by” -- or so the legend goes. Like fake news it just isn’t true. As it turns out, only humans practice this ancient honored past time when trouble comes.
If you have not seen trouble with sufficient reason to stand tall these past few months, check your heart, it may no longer be beating. In a democracy it is up to us, each of us, and no one else to stand up.
